SocialBee Pricing: How Much SocialBee Costs Per Month

The short answer
Read off socialbee.com in August 2026, SocialBee costs $29 a month for Bootstrap, $49 for Accelerate and $99 for Pro billed monthly, or $290, $490 and $990 a year billed annually, which is $24.17, $40.83 and $82.50 a month. Agency plans run $179, $329 and $449 a month for 50, 100 and 150 profiles. There is no free plan, only a 14-day trial that needs no credit card plus a 30-day money-back guarantee. Two details change most people's bill and are missing from nearly every comparison. Extra profiles cost $15 a month per set of 5, which is $3.00 per profile and undercuts the built-in rate on every plan except Pro150, so buying add-ons often beats upgrading. And Bootstrap and Accelerate include exactly one user each, so the "Most Popular" $49 plan is single-seat and a two-person team really pays $59.

How much does SocialBee cost?
Read off socialbee.com in August 2026, SocialBee costs $29 a month for Bootstrap, $49 for Accelerate and $99 for Pro when billed monthly. Billed annually those become $290, $490 and $990 up front, which works out at $24.17, $40.83 and $82.50 a month. Above them sit three agency plans: Pro50 at $179 a month, Pro100 at $329 and Pro150 at $449. There is no free plan. Every tier carries a 14-day free trial with no credit card required, plus a 30-day money-back guarantee.
The headline prices are the easy part and most articles stop there. The two things that actually change your bill are the add-ons, which SocialBee publishes on its own pricing page and almost nobody repeats, and the seat count, because the plan SocialBee marks "Most Popular" includes exactly one user.
SocialBee pricing plans in plain terms
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed annually | Profiles | Users | Workspaces |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bootstrap | $29 a month | $290 a year, $24.17 a month | 5 | 1 | 1 |
| Accelerate | $49 a month | $490 a year, $40.83 a month | 10 | 1 | 1 |
| Pro | $99 a month | $990 a year, $82.50 a month | 25 | 3 | 5 |
| Pro50 | $179 a month | $1,790 a year, $149.20 a month | 50 | 5 | 10 |
| Pro100 | $329 a month | $3,290 a year, $274.20 a month | 100 | 5 | 20 |
| Pro150 | $449 a month | $4,490 a year, $374.20 a month | 150 | 5 | 30 |
Filling in what those columns compress. Bootstrap gives you 10 content categories and 10 content sources, and caps analytics history at 3 months with no advanced analytics. Accelerate raises that to 50 categories and 30 sources, and unlocks advanced analytics with 2 years of history. Pro makes categories and sources unlimited and is the first tier with more than one seat. The three agency plans keep 5 users each and scale profiles and workspaces.
AI generation is unlimited on every tier, including the $29 one. That is worth pausing on, because it is unusual in this category and it is a genuine point in SocialBee's favor. Vista Social meters AI credits by plan, Later sells extra credits in packs of 100, and several suites reserve their better AI features for upper tiers. SocialBee does not meter it at all.
SocialBee connects 10 networks: Facebook profiles, pages and groups, Instagram business and personal, Threads, LinkedIn personal profiles and company pages, X, Pinterest boards, TikTok personal and pro, YouTube channels, Google Business Profile locations, and Bluesky.
Does SocialBee have a free plan?
No. SocialBee has no permanent free tier in August 2026. What it offers instead is a 14-day free trial that genuinely does not ask for a credit card, followed by a 30-day money-back guarantee once you do pay. The cheapest way to keep using SocialBee after the trial is Bootstrap at $29 a month, or $24.17 a month if you commit to a year.
That combination is more generous than it first looks. A no-card trial plus a 30-day refund window gives you 44 days to decide, and only the last 30 of those involve any money leaving your account. If you are comparing against tools that do have free tiers, the honest framing is that Buffer and Metricool will let you stay free forever on a narrow plan, and SocialBee will not, but SocialBee lets you evaluate the full product without handing over payment details first.
What does SocialBee cost per social profile?
SocialBee prices almost entirely by profile count, so cost per profile is the number that decides which plan is right. At the annual rate it falls in a straight line, which is not what happens on most competing pricing pages.
| Plan | Annual rate per month | Profiles | Cost per profile |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bootstrap | $24.17 | 5 | $4.83 |
| Accelerate | $40.83 | 10 | $4.08 |
| Pro | $82.50 | 25 | $3.30 |
| Pro50 | $149.20 | 50 | $2.98 |
| Pro100 | $274.20 | 100 | $2.74 |
| Pro150 | $374.20 | 150 | $2.49 |
Every step up genuinely lowers the rate per account, with no dead tier in the middle. Vista Social, by contrast, gets more expensive per profile at its top published tier than at the one below it. SocialBee's ladder behaves the way you would expect a pricing page to behave, and that alone removes a trap.
SocialBee add-ons: the prices most comparisons leave out
This is the part worth reading twice, because it changes the answer to "which plan should I buy" more often than the plan table does. SocialBee sells three add-ons that stack on top of any tier.
| Add-on | Billed monthly | Billed annually | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Extra profiles | $15 a month | $150 a year, $12.50 a month | A set of 5 additional social profiles |
| Extra user | $10 a month | $100 a year, $8.33 a month | One additional seat |
| Extra workspace | $10 a month | $100 a year, $8.33 a month | One additional workspace |
Now do the arithmetic nobody publishes. Five extra profiles for $15 a month is $3.00 per profile, and at the annual rate of $150 a year it is $2.50 per profile. Compare that against the built-in rates in the table above: $4.83 on Bootstrap, $4.08 on Accelerate, $3.30 on Pro, $2.98 on Pro50. The add-on undercuts every single plan except Pro150, where the two are effectively tied at $2.49 against $2.50.
The practical consequence is that buying more profiles is frequently cheaper than moving up a tier, and the pricing page does not say so anywhere. Worked through the common cases at monthly rates:
| Profiles you need | Next plan up | Current plan plus add-ons | Cheaper option |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 | Accelerate, $49 | Bootstrap plus 1 set, $44 | Add-on saves $5 a month |
| 15 | Pro, $99 | Accelerate plus 1 set, $64 | Add-on saves $35 a month |
| 25 | Pro, $99 | Accelerate plus 3 sets, $94 | Close. Pro wins on seats |
| 30 | Pro50, $179 | Pro plus 1 set, $114 | Add-on saves $65 a month |
| 50 | Pro50, $179 | Pro plus 5 sets, $174 | Close. Pro50 wins on seats |
A clear pattern falls out of that. Add-ons win in the middle of a tier's range, and the next plan up wins as you approach the top of it, because that is where the extra seats and workspaces you are also buying start to matter. At 15 profiles the add-on route saves $420 a year, which is real money for a small agency. At 25 profiles the $5 gap is meaningless and you should take Pro for the 3 users and 5 workspaces.
The one thing add-ons never fix is the feature gate. Staying on Bootstrap with add-ons keeps you at 10 content categories, 10 content sources, 3 months of analytics history and no advanced analytics, however many profiles you bolt on. If you need year-over-year reporting, the upgrade to Accelerate is not optional and the $5 saving is irrelevant.
How many users do you get on each SocialBee plan?
One on Bootstrap, one on Accelerate, three on Pro, and five on all three agency plans. This catches people out, because Accelerate carries the "Most Popular" badge and gets described in roundups as the small-team plan. It is not a team plan. It is a bigger solo plan.
So a two-person marketing team looking at Accelerate is really looking at $49 plus a $10 user add-on, or $59 a month. A three-person team is at $69, which is close enough to Pro at $99 that the extra 15 profiles, 5 workspaces and unlimited categories are probably worth the difference. The first tier that includes real multi-user access without add-ons is Pro, and it costs twice the popular plan.
Workspaces follow the same shape and matter more to agencies than to in-house teams. Bootstrap and Accelerate each include one workspace, so an agency keeping three clients properly separated on Accelerate pays $49 plus two workspace add-ons, or $69 a month. Freelancers who pick up social media clients one at a time tend to hit this ceiling before they hit the profile ceiling, because the second client arrives long before the eleventh account does.
Is the SocialBee annual plan worth it?
The annual discount is unusually clean, and it is identical on every tier including the agency plans. SocialBee's toggle says "16% off", and the actual structure is simpler than that: the annual price is exactly ten times the monthly price on all six plans. Bootstrap is $29 monthly and $290 a year. Accelerate is $49 and $490. Pro is $99 and $990. Pro50 is $179 and $1,790. Pro100 is $329 and $3,290. Pro150 is $449 and $4,490.
That means you pay for 10 months and get 12, a 16.67 percent saving with no tier-by-tier variation to check. It is worth knowing because several competitors advertise one discount percentage and quietly deliver a smaller one on their top plan. SocialBee does not. The add-ons follow the same rule: $15 a month or $150 a year, $10 a month or $100 a year.
Whether to commit depends on profile count stability rather than the discount. Two months free is a good deal, and the 30-day money-back guarantee applies to annual purchases too, but a year is a long time to be locked to a workspace count if you are an agency winning and losing clients.
What SocialBee actually costs for four real setups
Headline prices rarely match anyone's invoice. These four are worked at the annual rate, which is what most people end up paying.
A solo creator on four networks. Four profiles fits Bootstrap with room to spare. $290 a year, or $24.17 a month, with unlimited AI generation included and analytics that only look back 3 months. Total: $290 a year.
A two-person startup marketing team on eight profiles. Eight profiles needs Accelerate, and the second person needs a user add-on. $490 plus $100 is $590 a year, or $49.17 a month. Worth comparing against Pro at $990, which would cover 25 profiles and 3 users, if a third hire is coming.
A freelance social media manager with 5 clients, 3 networks each. That is 15 profiles and, if you keep clients separated, 5 workspaces. Pro at $990 covers both exactly. The cheaper route is Accelerate at $490 plus one profile set at $150 plus four workspace add-ons at $400, which totals $1,040 and is more expensive. Take Pro at $990 a year. This is the case where the plan beats the add-ons decisively.
A small agency with 12 clients, 3 networks each. That is 36 profiles and 12 workspaces. Pro50 covers 50 profiles and 10 workspaces at $1,790, plus two workspace add-ons at $200, for $1,990 a year. The alternative is Pro at $990 plus three profile sets at $450 plus seven workspace add-ons at $700, which is $2,140 and gives you 3 seats instead of 5. Pro50 wins here on both price and seats.
Is SocialBee worth it?
For scheduling and recycling across a lot of accounts on a small budget, it is one of the better deals in the category. The per-profile rate beats Buffer, Hootsuite and Sprout Social comfortably at every tier, the evergreen category recycling is the feature people actually stay for, unlimited AI generation at $29 is rare, and the no-card trial plus refund window makes it cheap to find out.
The reservations are specific rather than general. The single seat on the two cheapest plans is the one most likely to surprise you at checkout. Bootstrap's 3-month analytics ceiling makes the entry plan a poor fit for anyone who reports quarterly. And the workspace add-on economics get expensive for agencies sitting just above a tier's workspace allowance.
One thing no SocialBee plan addresses, at any price, is where the posts come from. Categories, queues and recycling are all machinery for organizing content that already exists. If you have written 30 posts, SocialBee will keep them circulating across 10 networks indefinitely and do it well. If the queue is empty, none of the tiers help, and the unlimited AI generation writes from a prompt rather than from your work.
How does SocialBee compare to other schedulers on price?
At the entry level SocialBee is genuinely cheap. Bootstrap at $29 for 5 profiles undercuts Later at $25 for one social set, which holds only one profile per platform, and it undercuts Buffer once you pass Buffer's free 3 channels. Sprout Social starts at $79 per seat per month, and Metricool is the only one that competes on raw price, on a sliding scale by brand count with a $10 per month charge per connected X account.
Where SocialBee is strongest is the agency middle. Pro50 at $2.98 per profile is very hard to beat for 50 accounts, and Agorapulse caps all three of its named tiers at 10 profiles while charging per seat. The full category with verified prices side by side is on our content repurposing tools comparison, and the head-to-head against our own product is on the SocialBee alternative page.
What SocialBee does not do
SocialBee publishes, recycles and reports. It does not read something you already made and turn it into the posts. That distinction decides whether the subscription solves your problem or just organizes it.
Put a number on the gap. If turning one blog post, video or podcast into an X thread, a LinkedIn post, Instagram captions and an email takes two to three hours by hand, and you publish four sources a month, that is roughly ten hours of writing a month that no scheduler touches. Bootstrap costs $24.17 a month. The writing costs considerably more than that and never appears on an invoice.
Adapter.to does the upstream half. Paste a blog post, a YouTube video, a podcast or a URL and it writes the channel-native version for each place you publish, carrying the specific number you cited and the example that landed rather than generating something adjacent from a prompt. You paste the results into the SocialBee queue and let its categories recycle them as usual. Try it on the AI content repurposing tool, or see the multi-client version on the content repurposing for agencies page.
