The short answer
SocialBee is worth it for solo marketers, small businesses and small agencies that post evergreen content on a schedule, because category queues, RSS imports and recycling keep the calendar full and AI generation is unlimited on every plan. Read off socialbee.com on October 5, 2026, it costs $29, $49 or $99 a month for Bootstrap, Accelerate and Pro (5, 10 and 25 profiles), exactly two months free billed yearly, with agency plans at $179, $329 and $449. Bootstrap and Accelerate include one user each, so a second person costs $10 a month. It rates 4.4 out of 5 on Capterra and holds a 3.8 TrustScore on Trustpilot, where complaints center on Instagram publishing, outages and renewals. There is a 14-day trial with no card and a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Is SocialBee worth it?
SocialBee is worth it for solo marketers, small businesses and small agencies that post evergreen content on a schedule, because its category queues, RSS imports and post recycling keep a calendar full with little effort, and AI generation is unlimited even on the $29 plan. It rates 4.4 out of 5 on Capterra and holds a 3.8 TrustScore on Trustpilot. It is a weaker buy for teams of two or more on the cheaper plans, since Bootstrap and Accelerate include one user each, and for anyone who needs deep analytics or a polished interface.
We read every price in this review off socialbee.com on October 5, 2026, and the ratings off Capterra and Trustpilot the same day. The figures match what we recorded in August 2026 for our full SocialBee pricing breakdown, so nothing has moved since then.
SocialBee pricing at a glance
SocialBee sells three standard plans and three agency plans. The yearly price is exactly ten times the monthly price on every plan, which is two months free, or 16.7 percent. The toggle rounds that down to "16% off".
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed yearly, per month | Social profiles | Users | Workspaces |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bootstrap | $29 | $24.17 | 5 | 1 | 1 |
| Accelerate | $49 | $40.83 | 10 | 1 | 1 |
| Pro | $99 | $82.50 | 25 | 3 per workspace | 5 |
| Pro50 | $179 | $149.17 | 50 | 5 per workspace | 10 |
| Pro100 | $329 | $274.17 | 100 | 5 per workspace | 20 |
| Pro150 | $449 | $374.17 | 150 | 5 per workspace | 30 |
Add-ons are bought inside the app and listed on the pricing page: an extra user costs $10 a month ($100 a year), an extra workspace $10 a month ($100 a year), and a set of five extra profiles $15 a month ($150 a year). Prices exclude sales tax and VAT, which are added at checkout. There is a 14-day free trial with no card required and no permanent free plan.
One thing to ignore: the pricing page still carries a birthday sale banner for code SBDAY2026, 50 percent off for three months, with a deadline of June 10. In October that offer has expired, so budget on list price.
What do SocialBee reviews say?
On October 5, 2026, SocialBee rated 4.4 out of 5 on Capterra, with 4.2 for ease of use and 4.5 for customer service. Trustpilot is harsher, as it usually is for SaaS: a TrustScore of 3.8, which Trustpilot labels "Great", from a sample where recent one-star and five-star reviews sit side by side.
The praise is consistent across both sites. Reviewers like grouping posts into categories and letting each category repost on its own schedule, which suits seasonal products and evergreen tips. They call the support team quick and genuinely helpful, often by name, and several say it cut hours from their week. Pricing comes up as a plus against Hootsuite and Buffer.
The complaints cluster too. Recent Trustpilot reviews from 2026 describe Instagram posts that failed to publish, link thumbnails that rendered without images, frequent small outages, no search function for finding old posts, and a workspace that leans so hard on AI features that scheduling feels cluttered. Billing complaints mention a trial that was hard to cancel, no reminder before an annual renewal and refunds that needed a firm request. One reviewer paid more than €400 for a month of the ConciergeBee done-for-you service and was unhappy with the work.
What are the pros and cons of SocialBee?
Pros.
- Unlimited AI content generation on every plan, including Bootstrap at $29. Most competitors meter AI by credits.
- Category-based queues with recycling and expiry, the best evergreen system in this price range.
- RSS content sources on every plan: 10 on Bootstrap, 30 on Accelerate and unlimited on Pro.
- Ten networks for direct posting: Facebook profiles, pages and groups, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Google Business Profile and Bluesky.
- A 30-day money-back guarantee, no contracts, and an annual discount that is exactly two months free.
Cons.
- One user on both Bootstrap and Accelerate, so the "Most Popular" plan is a solo plan. A second person costs $10 a month.
- Bootstrap keeps only 3 months of analytics history and has no advanced analytics.
- Approval workflows start on Accelerate, branded report exports on Pro.
- Reliability and interface complaints in recent reviews, especially around Instagram publishing.
- Posting stops the moment the trial ends unless you upgrade, which surprises people who scheduled a month ahead during the trial.
Is SocialBee good for agencies?
Yes for small agencies, with a caveat on seats. Pro at $99 a month gives 5 workspaces, 25 profiles and 3 users per workspace, which comfortably covers a freelancer or a two-person shop with five clients. Pro50 at $179 doubles that to 10 workspaces and 50 profiles with 5 users per workspace. Agency plans have exactly the same features as Pro; you are paying for scale, not for extra tools.
The weak spot is client-facing polish. The pricing page lists no white-label option, and branded reports are an export rather than a client portal. If your clients expect to log into a branded space and approve posts there, a tool built for that, like Sendible or Cloud Campaign, fits better. Our social media management software for agencies page prices the whole category for a ten-client agency.
Which SocialBee plan do you need?
Count profiles and people, then check whether add-ons beat the next plan up.
- One person, one brand, up to 5 profiles: Bootstrap at $29. Move up only if you need more than 3 months of analytics.
- One person, up to 10 profiles, or anyone who needs approvals: Accelerate at $49. Bootstrap plus one set of five profiles is $44, but it keeps Bootstrap's 3-month analytics and no approvals.
- Two or three people, or several brands: compare Accelerate plus add-ons with Pro. Two users on Accelerate is $59 and three is $69. Pro at $99 adds 15 profiles, 5 workspaces, unlimited categories and branded reports, so at three people it is usually the better buy.
- An agency past 25 profiles: Pro plus one set of five profiles is $114 for 30, and Pro plus five sets is $174 for 50, against $179 for Pro50. Add-ons stay cheaper all the way to 50 profiles; Pro50 earns its extra $5 with 10 workspaces and 5 users per workspace.
Can I cancel SocialBee and get a refund?
Yes. SocialBee has no contracts, you can cancel or switch between monthly and yearly billing from your account at any time, and paid plans carry a 30-day money-back guarantee. Reviews suggest the guarantee is honored but not always automatically, so ask for it in writing and early. Annual plans renew without a reminder email according to several reviewers, so note the date yourself or set an alert for upcoming software renewals before the charge lands.
The trial needs no card. When it ends, posting stops until you pick a plan, and your queue, settings and content stay where you left them.
Is SocialBee better than Hootsuite?
For small teams on a budget, yes. Hootsuite's Standard plan costs $99 per user per month billed annually for up to 10 accounts, re-verified on hootsuite.com on October 5, 2026. SocialBee Pro costs $99 a month for 25 profiles and 3 users per workspace, and Accelerate covers 10 profiles for $49. Hootsuite wins on social listening, its inbox automation and enterprise governance, which SocialBee does not try to match. Our Hootsuite pricing article runs the per-seat math.
Against ContentStudio the fight is closer. ContentStudio Standard is also $29 a month for 5 accounts, $19 billed annually, with built-in content discovery, but RSS auto-posting only starts on its $69 Advanced plan. SocialBee includes RSS sources from $29. The ContentStudio pricing breakdown has the add-on rates. Former Crowdfire users weighing both should read our Crowdfire alternative comparison, which prices each tool against the Crowdfire plan you were on.
What SocialBee does not do
SocialBee schedules, recycles and drafts. Its AI Copilot can generate a posting strategy and ready posts from a prompt, and its RSS sources turn each new article on your blog into a post with the title and link. What it does not do is read the 2,000 word article, the 40 minute YouTube video or the podcast episode you just published and write the LinkedIn post, the X thread and the Instagram captions from what is actually in it: the argument, the numbers, the examples. Posts written about a topic and posts written from your content are different products.
That is the gap Adapter.to fills. Paste a URL, a transcript or a draft and it returns channel-native posts for LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, email and a newsletter, which you drop into SocialBee's categories and let its queue publish. Plans start at $49 a month for 30 source pieces. Bloggers usually start with repurpose blog posts. If you are still deciding whether SocialBee is the right scheduler at all, our SocialBee alternative page compares it with Buffer, Publer and SocialPilot on price.
Who should buy SocialBee?
Buy SocialBee if you are a solo marketer, small business owner or small agency with a library of evergreen content, a blog worth feeding into social, and a budget under $100 a month. The category queues and unlimited AI are real advantages at that price. Skip it if you need several logins on a small plan, client-facing white label, social listening, or analytics deeper than profile growth and top posts. In every case, use the 14-day trial on the networks you depend on most, Instagram above all, before you commit to a year.
