Refund policy

How payments, cancellations and refund requests work for Adapter.to plans. Applies to purchases from October 14, 2026.

Summary

We do not offer refunds on Adapter.to plans. A charge is reversed only for a billing error on our side, a proven card misuse reported in time, or a complete outage we could not fix. You can stop renewals from your billing page whenever you like, and the live demo on our home page lets you repurpose a real source before you pay.

What a subscription pays for

Creator, Pro, Team and Agency are recurring subscriptions, billed monthly or annually. Each one buys access to Adapter.to for a billing period, with the source and output limits listed on the pricing page. That access starts in full on the first day of the period. How many blog posts, videos, podcasts or newsletters you actually turn into posts has no effect on the price or on whether it can be returned.

Subscribing is a request for us to begin the service immediately. You accept that any statutory right of withdrawal or cooling-off period that would otherwise apply ends once the service has begun at your request.

Cancelling a plan

Cancel at any time from your billing page. You do not need to write to us. From that moment no further renewal is charged, and your plan, saved brand voices and exports stay available until the paid period runs out. Cancelling does not reverse money already taken, and it is not treated as a refund request.

A plan renews automatically at the start of each new period, which opens access for that period and makes its payment due. If your card is declined, the amount remains due and the charge is retried over the next few days as part of the same invoice, not as a new charge. Cancelling while those retries are running switches off future renewals but leaves the invoice for the current period in place. Cancel before the renewal date in your billing page if you do not want the next period.

When we reverse a charge

We return money only in one of these three situations, only where the account and transaction records back it up, and only for the affected charge:

  1. A double charge. Our billing took payment twice for the same plan and period.
  2. A proven unauthorised payment. Your card was used without your consent, you write to us within 14 days of the charge, and the records show that the payment did not come from you. We decide on the evidence, not on the claim, and may ask you to confirm that your card issuer has been told.
  3. A complete outage. A confirmed fault on our side made Adapter.to unusable for a continuous period, you reported it while it was ongoing, and we did not resolve it. Slow generation, one source that would not import, or trouble with your own browser, network or files does not count.

A reversed charge is limited to what you paid for that period, is sent only to the original card, and is the whole of our liability for it. One reversal creates no right to a further one.

What does not qualify

  • No longer needing the tool, or a change in your content plans.
  • Not repurposing anything, or using only part of your monthly limits.
  • Not liking the wording, hooks or length of generated posts, or needing to edit them. AI output varies with every source.
  • How your posts performed after you published them: reach, engagement, followers or clicks.
  • A source that could not be read, such as a private video, a paywalled article or an empty URL.
  • A renewal, including one collected after a failed first attempt.
  • Believing a plan was a one-off payment. Every plan says it renews, on the pricing page, at checkout, in the confirmation email and on the billing page.
  • Forgetting to cancel before the renewal date, or cancelling just after it.
  • Choosing the wrong plan, seat count or billing term.
  • Time left in the period after you cancel. We do not pro-rate.
  • A feature not listed on the pricing page, or one that works differently from what you assumed.
  • Use of your account by teammates or anyone else you shared access with.

How to write to us about a payment

Send an email to support@adapter.to from the address on your Adapter.to account, no later than 14 days after the charge. Give the date and amount and say which of the three situations above applies. We only consider requests made this way and within that time. Requests are handled in order of arrival, without a set response time, and a declined request is final.

Going to your bank for a chargeback without contacting us first breaches our terms of service and leads to permanent closure of the account.

Records we rely on

When you sign up you accept our terms of service, including this policy, and our privacy policy. Checkout shows the plan, price, billing term and the fact that it renews before any payment is taken.

We keep, for every subscription, the time of purchase, the plan and price displayed, your acceptance of the terms, the emails sent to you, and the account activity log, covering sign-ins, sources imported and posts generated, with the technical details logged for each. Our payment processor holds its own record of each charge, including the card's country of issue, where the payment was made from and the outcome of bank authentication such as 3D Secure. These records are what we check an unauthorised-payment claim against, and what we send to the card issuer if a chargeback is raised.

Earlier purchases

Plans bought before October 14, 2026 remain under the refund terms that were in force when they were bought.
