FMG Suite alternative and pricing for financial advisors
FMG Suite is a marketing platform built for financial advisors. It sells a library of pre-written emails, social posts and newsletters, a compliance submission button, advisor websites, greeting cards, event promotion and, on its top tier, a concierge team that runs the calendar for you. For an advisor who wants ready-made content that has been written with the regulators in mind, it is one of the most complete options in the industry.
What it does not do well is sound like you. Every advisor on the same plan draws from the same library, and the most common complaint in its reviews is limited customization. Adapter.to does a narrower job: paste your quarterly commentary, your blog post, a client letter or the link to your last webinar, and it writes the LinkedIn post, Instagram caption, X thread, client email and newsletter section from what you actually said. It has no compliance workflow, no archive, no website and does not post for you, so the comparison below also shows where FMG Suite is the better buy.

The short answer
FMG Suite charges a monthly fee plus a one-time setup fee, read off its pricing page on October 19, 2026. Marketing alone is $99, $269 or $895 a month with $199 to $499 setup; websites are $79 or $149 a month with $795 to $2,995 setup; the bundles run $178, $418 and $1,044 a month with $994 to $3,494 setup. The bundles are exactly the two products added together, with no discount. Archived copies show the same prices in May 2025. FMG Suite is the better buy if you want pre-written content and a built-in compliance submission. If you already write or record your own commentary and want it turned into posts and emails, Adapter.to does that from $49 a month, or $24 billed annually, with no setup fee.
FMG Suite sells advisors a shared, compliance-minded content library plus the website, email and event tooling around it, from $99 a month plus a $199 setup fee for marketing alone and up to $1,044 a month plus $3,494 setup for the done-for-you bundle. Adapter.to sells the writing half from the advisor's own material: each commentary, blog post, webinar or client letter becomes channel-native drafts for LinkedIn, Instagram, X, email and newsletters, 30 sources a month for $49 with no setup fee. The drafts still go through your own compliance review and archiving.

How much does FMG Suite cost in 2026?
FMG Suite costs from $99 a month plus a $199 setup fee for its marketing tools alone, and up to $1,044 a month plus $3,494 setup for its done-for-you marketing with a premium website. We read every figure off fmgsuite.com/pricing on October 19, 2026. Prices are labeled "starting at", in USD, and per advisor.
| Plan | Monthly | Setup | First year |
|---|---|---|---|
| Marketing Essential | $99 | $199 | $1,387 |
| Marketing Premium | $269 | $199 | $3,427 |
| Do It For Me | $895 | $499 | $11,239 |
| Website Essential | $79 | $795 | $1,743 |
| Website Premium | $149 | $2,995 | $4,783 |
| Bundle Essential | $178 | $994 | $3,130 |
| Bundle Premium | $418 | $3,194 | $8,210 |
| Do It For Me plus Premium Website | $1,044 | $3,494 | $16,022 |
Add-ons are Tailored Copywriting for your website pages at $699 and Accessibility Lock at $50. Its separate reviews and testimonials product is $99 per advisor a month plus a $99 setup fee. Larger firms are quoted on request.
The bundles are not discounted, and other findings
Lay the three product lines side by side and the bundle prices turn out to be simple sums. Nothing on the page says otherwise, but nothing says so either, and it changes how you should buy.
- Bundle Essential is Marketing Essential plus Website Essential to the dollar. $99 plus $79 is $178 a month, and $199 plus $795 is the $994 setup. The same is true of Premium ($269 plus $149, $199 plus $2,995) and of the top bundle ($895 plus $149, $499 plus $2,995). Buying together saves nothing, so buy only the half you need.
- The setup fee is most of the website cost. Website Premium is $149 a month but $2,995 to start, so its first year costs $4,783 and its second $1,788. If you might leave within two years, the setup fee is the number to negotiate.
- Contacts are capped. Marketing Essential includes 1,000 email contacts and Premium and Do It For Me include 2,000. Extra contacts can be bought on Premium and Do It For Me only, up to 25,000, so an advisor with a larger list cannot stay on Essential.
- Prices have held. An archived copy of the pricing page from May 2025 shows the same eight monthly prices and setup fees. The one change we found is Accessibility Lock, then listed at $49 a month. Comparison sites that say FMG Suite "starts at $50" are reading that add-on, not a plan.
FMG Suite vs Snappy Kraken vs Adapter.to
Snappy Kraken is the advisor marketing platform most often weighed against FMG Suite. We read its pricing page on October 19, 2026: every plan is priced on an annual term, and each one carries a setup fee as well.
| Tool and plan | Monthly | Setup | First year | Content comes from |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| FMG Suite Marketing Essential | $99 | $199 | $1,387 | Shared library and AI drafts |
| FMG Suite Marketing Premium | $269 | $199 | $3,427 | Library, AI drafts and campaigns |
| Snappy Kraken Foundations | $199 | $199 | $2,587 | Campaign library |
| Snappy Kraken Grow | $299 | $499 | $4,087 | Campaigns plus automation |
| Snappy Kraken Freedom360 | $899 | $499 | $11,287 | Done for you |
| Adapter.to Creator | $24 billed yearly | None | $288 | Your own commentary and posts |
On a first-year basis FMG Suite's entry marketing plan is the cheapest of the advisor platforms, $1,200 less than Snappy Kraken Foundations, largely because Snappy Kraken's monthly price starts at $199. At the top, the two done-for-you services land within $48 of each other in year one ($11,239 and $11,287).
What is the best FMG Suite alternative?
It depends on which part of FMG Suite you would keep.
- You want ready-made campaigns and automation. Snappy Kraken is the closest like-for-like platform, from $199 a month on an annual term plus $199 setup.
- You write a monthly commentary or record webinars already. Then the library is the part you do not need. Adapter.to turns each one into a LinkedIn post, an Instagram caption, an X thread, a client email and a newsletter section for $49 a month.
- You only need the website. Website Essential is sold on its own at $79 a month plus $795 setup, so there is no reason to buy the bundle.
- You want someone to do all of it. FMG Do It For Me ($895 a month) and Snappy Kraken Freedom360 ($899) cost almost the same in year one; an independent agency is the other route, and our content repurposing services pricing page shows what those cost.
- You run a team. FMG Suite quotes larger firms. Adapter.to publishes its Team plan at $199 a month for three users and 400 sources.
Where FMG Suite is the better choice
If you want content you never have to write, FMG Suite does that and Adapter.to does not. Its library covers markets, retirement, Medicare, college planning and life events, its campaigns run on their own, and its compliance button sends a post for approval without leaving the platform. It also builds and maintains advisor websites, which we do not do at all. An advisor with no time to write, no website and a broker-dealer that already works with FMG Suite will get more from it than from writing software.
Where writing from your own commentary wins
The advisors who look for an FMG Suite alternative usually say the same thing: the posts are fine, but they sound like everyone else's. Prospects who meet you on LinkedIn are choosing a person, and a shared library cannot tell them what you think about this quarter or how you handled a client's question last week. Your own commentary can. Paste it into Adapter.to and the drafts come back at once: a LinkedIn post, an X thread, an Instagram caption, a short video script, a client email, a newsletter section and a YouTube description, each in the shape its channel expects. The LinkedIn post generator shows a single channel, and the repurpose blog posts page shows the whole run from one article.
Compliance stays with you whichever tool drafts the copy. If you are registered with a broker-dealer, FINRA Rule 2210 generally requires a principal to approve static social posts before they go live, and both FINRA and SEC recordkeeping rules require them to be archived. RIAs also have the SEC Marketing Rule to consider for anything that reads as a testimonial or a performance claim. Treat every draft as a draft and send it through your normal review. Creator costs $49 a month for 30 sources, or $24 billed annually, with no setup fee; Pro at $99 adds webinars and recorded videos as a source. Compare plans on the pricing page.
