Snappy Kraken alternative and pricing for financial advisors
Snappy Kraken is a marketing automation platform built only for financial advisors. It sells ready-made email and social campaigns, birthday and market-update automations, compliant text messaging, advisor websites and, on its top tier, a team that plans and runs your marketing for you. It integrates with Redtail, Wealthbox and Salesforce, and it is an approved marketing partner of LPL Financial. For an advisor who wants campaigns that run on their own, it is one of the strongest options in the industry.
What it costs is a different story. Every plan is priced on an annual term and carries a setup fee, so the cheapest way in is $2,587 for the first year. And like any content library, the campaigns are written for every advisor on the platform, not for you. Adapter.to does a narrower job: paste your quarterly commentary, a blog post, a client letter or the link to your last webinar, and it writes the LinkedIn post, Instagram caption, X thread, client email and newsletter section from what you actually said. It has no compliance review, no automation, no website and does not send or post anything, so the comparison below also shows where Snappy Kraken is the better buy.

The short answer
Snappy Kraken charges a monthly price on an annual term plus a one-time setup fee, read off its pricing page on October 21, 2026. Marketing automation is $199, $299 or $899 a month with $199 to $499 setup; websites are $99 or $199 a month with $499 or $2,499 setup; bundles are $298, $449 and $999 a month with $698 to $2,998 setup. The cheapest first year is $2,587. LPL Financial advisors get 20 percent off every product. Snappy Kraken is the better buy if you want automated campaigns, texting and a website from one advisor vendor. If you already write or record your own commentary and want it turned into posts and emails, Adapter.to does that from $49 a month, or $24 billed annually, with no setup fee.
Snappy Kraken sells advisors marketing automation: a campaign library, email and text sending, advisor websites and a done-for-you service, from $199 a month on an annual term plus $199 setup and up to $999 a month plus $2,998 setup for the done-for-you bundle. Adapter.to sells the writing from the advisor's own material: each commentary, blog post, webinar or client letter becomes channel-native drafts for LinkedIn, Instagram, X, email and newsletters, 30 sources a month for $49 with no setup fee. The drafts still go through your own compliance review and archiving.

How much does Snappy Kraken cost in 2026?
Snappy Kraken costs from $199 a month plus a $199 setup fee for its marketing automation alone, and up to $999 a month plus $2,998 setup for the done-for-you service with a premium website. We read every figure off snappykraken.com/pricing on October 21, 2026. Each monthly price is labeled "Annual Term", so the first-year column is the realistic minimum spend.
| Plan | Monthly | Setup | First year |
|---|---|---|---|
| Campaigns Foundations | $199 | $199 | $2,587 |
| Campaigns Grow | $299 | $499 | $4,087 |
| Freedom360 | $899 | $499 | $11,287 |
| Website Foundations | $99 | $499 | $1,687 |
| Website Grow | $199 | $2,499 | $4,887 |
| Foundations Bundle | $298 | $698 | $4,274 |
| Grow Bundle | $449 | $2,998 | $8,386 |
| Freedom360 Bundle | $999 | $2,998 | $14,986 |
Extra advisor workspaces are $99 a month on Grow and $699 on Freedom360, and admin seats are $99. Compliant text messaging (Convos) is $99 a month on its own and is included in Grow and Freedom360. Multi-advisor firms and enterprises are quoted on request.
What the Snappy Kraken pricing page does not spell out
Put the plan cards side by side and a few things show up that the headline prices hide.
- The bundle discount is on the monthly price only. The Foundations Bundle is Campaigns Foundations plus Website Foundations to the dollar ($199 plus $99). The Grow Bundle saves $49 a month against buying both Grow products ($299 plus $199), and the Freedom360 Bundle saves $99 a month. Every bundle setup fee is the two setup fees added together, so the bundle never saves anything up front.
- Foundations is for one advisor. Extra advisor workspaces are not offered on Foundations, so a practice with two advisors starts on Grow: $299 plus $99 a month, or $5,275 in the first year.
- The website setup fee is most of its first-year cost. Website Grow is $199 a month but $2,499 to start, so year one costs $4,887 and year two $2,388. If you might change firms within two years, negotiate the setup fee, not the monthly price.
- One price on the page disagrees with the rest. The a la carte strip at the top lists "Essential Advisor Websites" at $199 a month, while the Website Foundations card below it says $99. Ask which applies before you sign.
- The prices are newly public. An archived copy of the pricing page from May 2025 shows "Contact Us" on every plan. The figures above were already on the page by April 2026 and have not changed since.
Does Snappy Kraken offer a discount for LPL advisors?
Yes. Snappy Kraken is an approved marketing partner of LPL Financial, and its LPL page offers LPL advisors 20 percent off every product, setup fees included. You mention that you are part of the LPL network when you book the demo. We read these prices off snappykraken.com/lpl on October 21, 2026.
| Plan | LPL monthly | LPL setup | First year |
|---|---|---|---|
| Campaigns Foundations | $159 | $159 | $2,067 |
| Campaigns Grow | $239 | $399 | $3,267 |
| Freedom360 | $719 | $399 | $9,027 |
| Grow Bundle | $359 | $2,398 | $6,706 |
That is $520 off the first year of Foundations and $2,260 off Freedom360. If your broker-dealer is not LPL, ask whether it has a partner arrangement too, because the discount is not shown on the main pricing page.
Snappy Kraken vs FMG Suite vs Adapter.to
FMG Suite is the platform Snappy Kraken compares itself with most often. We read FMG Suite's pricing page on October 19, 2026; our FMG Suite pricing breakdown has every plan.
| Tool and plan | Monthly | Setup | First year | Email contacts |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Snappy Kraken Foundations | $199 | $199 | $2,587 | 10,000 |
| Snappy Kraken Grow | $299 | $499 | $4,087 | 50,000 |
| FMG Marketing Essential | $99 | $199 | $1,387 | 1,000 |
| FMG Marketing Premium | $269 | $199 | $3,427 | 2,000 |
| Adapter.to Creator | $24 billed yearly | None | $288 | Writes the email, you send it |
FMG Suite is $1,200 cheaper at the entry level in year one. Snappy Kraken includes far more contacts: 10,000 on Foundations against FMG Suite's 1,000 on Essential, so an advisor with a list of a few thousand households pays less on Snappy Kraken Foundations than on FMG Marketing Premium once the larger list forces the upgrade. At the top, Freedom360 ($11,287) and FMG Do It For Me ($11,239) cost almost the same in the first year.
What is the best Snappy Kraken alternative?
It depends on which part of Snappy Kraken you would keep.
- You want ready-made campaigns but a smaller bill. FMG Suite Marketing Essential is $99 a month plus $199 setup, provided your list is under 1,000 contacts. Our FMG Suite alternative page covers it.
- You write a monthly commentary or record webinars already. Then the campaign library is the part you skip. Adapter.to turns each one into a LinkedIn post, an Instagram caption, an X thread, a client email and a newsletter section for $49 a month.
- You only need the website. Website Foundations is sold on its own at $99 a month plus $499 setup, so there is no reason to buy the bundle for it.
- You want someone to do all of it. Freedom360 and FMG Do It For Me cost almost the same in year one; an independent writer or agency is the other route, and our content repurposing services pricing page shows what those cost.
- You run a team. On Snappy Kraken each extra advisor is $99 a month on Grow. Adapter.to publishes its Team plan at $199 a month for three users and 400 sources.
Where Snappy Kraken is the better choice
If you want marketing that runs without you, Snappy Kraken does that and Adapter.to does not. Birthday emails, quarterly updates and newsletters go out on schedule, lead capture forms feed new subscribers into nurture campaigns, Convos handles compliant texting, and the whole thing syncs with Redtail, Wealthbox or Salesforce. Profile and campaign review are built in on every plan, and it builds advisor websites, which we do not do at all. An LPL advisor with no time to write and a list of several thousand households will get more from it than from writing software, and the 20 percent partner discount makes the case stronger.
Where writing from your own commentary wins
The advisors who look for a Snappy Kraken alternative usually already have the raw material. They write a quarterly letter, record a market update or host a client webinar, and then pay for a library of campaigns written for everyone. Prospects who find you on LinkedIn are choosing a person, and your own view of this quarter is what a shared campaign cannot supply. Paste it into Adapter.to and the drafts come back at once: a LinkedIn post, an X thread, an Instagram caption, a short video script, a client email, a newsletter section and a YouTube description, each in the shape its channel expects. The LinkedIn post generator shows a single channel, and the content repurposing for consultants page shows how one piece of expertise becomes a month of posts.
Compliance stays with you whichever tool drafts the copy. If you are registered with a broker-dealer, FINRA Rule 2210 generally requires a principal to approve static social posts before they go live, and FINRA and SEC recordkeeping rules require them to be archived. RIAs also have the SEC Marketing Rule to consider for anything that reads as a testimonial or a performance claim. Treat every draft as a draft and send it through your normal review. Creator costs $49 a month for 30 sources, or $24 billed annually, with no setup fee; Pro at $99 adds webinars and recorded videos as a source. Compare plans on the pricing page. The step-by-step advisor workflow is on our social media content for financial advisors page, and Levitate's quote-only plans are covered in our Levitate pricing article.
