How much does FMG Suite cost?
FMG Suite costs $99 to $1,044 a month per advisor, plus a one-time setup fee of $199 to $3,494, depending on whether you buy its marketing tools, a website or both. We read every price below off fmgsuite.com/pricing on October 19, 2026. All are labeled "starting at" and quoted in USD; larger firms get a custom quote.
| Plan | Monthly | Setup | First year | Each year after |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Marketing Essential | $99 | $199 | $1,387 | $1,188 |
| Marketing Premium | $269 | $199 | $3,427 | $3,228 |
| Do It For Me | $895 | $499 | $11,239 | $10,740 |
| Website Essential | $79 | $795 | $1,743 | $948 |
| Website Premium | $149 | $2,995 | $4,783 | $1,788 |
| Bundle Essential | $178 | $994 | $3,130 | $2,136 |
The two larger bundles are Premium at $418 a month plus $3,194 setup ($8,210 in year one) and Do It For Me plus Premium Website at $1,044 a month plus $3,494 setup ($16,022 in year one). Add-ons are Tailored Copywriting for your website pages at $699 and Accessibility Lock at $50. FMG's reviews and testimonials product is sold separately at $99 per advisor a month plus a $99 setup fee.
Are FMG Suite bundles cheaper than buying separately?
No. Every bundle is the marketing plan and the website plan added together, to the dollar. Bundle Essential is Marketing Essential ($99) plus Website Essential ($79), which is $178 a month, and its $994 setup is $199 plus $795. Premium works the same way ($269 plus $149 a month, $199 plus $2,995 setup), and so does the top bundle ($895 plus $149, $499 plus $2,995).
So there is no reason to buy a bundle for the price. If you already have a website you like, buy marketing alone. If you only want a compliant website, Website Essential is sold on its own. The bundle only makes sense when you want both halves anyway.
What is the FMG Suite setup fee?
Every FMG Suite plan has one, and on the websites it is most of the first-year cost. Marketing Essential and Premium charge $199 to start, Do It For Me charges $499, Website Essential $795 and Website Premium $2,995. On Website Premium the setup fee is larger than 20 months of the $149 monthly price, which is why its first year costs $4,783 and its second only $1,788.
That has a practical consequence. If there is any chance you will switch platforms or broker-dealers within two years, the setup fee is the number to negotiate, not the monthly price. The pricing page also says you may qualify for a discount and invites you to book a consult, so ask.
Did FMG Suite raise its prices?
Not in the last year and a half. An archived copy of the pricing page from May 2025 shows the same eight monthly prices and the same setup fees we read in October 2026. The only change we found is Accessibility Lock, listed at $49 a month then and $50 now.
The archive also explains a figure you will see on comparison sites: "FMG Suite starts at $50 a month." That is the Accessibility Lock add-on, not a plan. The cheapest way into FMG Suite is Website Essential at $79 a month, and the cheapest marketing plan is $99.
What do you get on each FMG Suite plan?
The three marketing plans share the same tools and differ in how much is written and run for you. From the comparison table on the pricing page:
- Marketing Essential, $99. The email builder, the social media builder for LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram, the ready-to-use content library, Canva and Unsplash inside the editor, and a stream of news articles with ready-to-post captions. It includes 1,000 email contacts and no extra contacts can be added. AI drafting is not included, and the automated campaign collections are an optional purchase.
- Marketing Premium, $269. Adds AI drafts for email, blog and social in six advisor tones, automated social posting at the frequency you choose, the 30-plus automated campaigns (client nurturing, market insights, life stages, celebrations) and pre-built sequences for onboarding, referrals and reviews. It includes 2,000 contacts, expandable to 25,000.
- Do It For Me, $895. A concierge marketing service on top of Premium. You get a dedicated contact, a monthly planning call, a curated monthly content calendar, exclusive content from FMG's own writers, two professionally written SEO blogs a month with a matching email, a monthly podcast script and quarterly event help.
Across all plans the compliance feature is the same: one click sends a piece of content for compliance approval, so it does not have to be emailed to a reviewer separately.
FMG Suite vs Snappy Kraken pricing
Snappy Kraken is the platform advisors most often compare with FMG Suite. We read its pricing page on the same day. Its plans are priced on an annual term, and each has a setup fee.
| Plan | Monthly | Setup | First year | Extra advisor |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| FMG Marketing Essential | $99 | $199 | $1,387 | Priced per advisor |
| FMG Marketing Premium | $269 | $199 | $3,427 | Priced per advisor |
| Snappy Kraken Foundations | $199 | $199 | $2,587 | Not offered |
| Snappy Kraken Grow | $299 | $499 | $4,087 | $99 a month |
| Snappy Kraken Freedom360 | $899 | $499 | $11,287 | $699 a month |
At the entry level FMG Suite is $1,200 cheaper in year one, mostly because Snappy Kraken's monthly price starts $100 higher. At the top, the two done-for-you services are almost identical: $11,239 for FMG Do It For Me and $11,287 for Freedom360 in year one, a $48 difference. Snappy Kraken also sells its websites, texting and marketing automation separately, from $99 to $299 a month each.
Is FMG Suite worth it?
FMG Suite is worth it for an advisor who wants content written for them and will use the library, the campaigns and the compliance button every month. Producing that volume of reviewed newsletters, posts and guides yourself would cost far more in time than $269 a month. Its G2 reviews, averaging about 3.5 out of 5, consistently praise ease of use and the compliance-friendly content.
The same reviews name its weakness: limited customization. Every advisor on a plan draws from the same library, so your LinkedIn feed can look like your competitor's across town. That matters most to the advisor who already has a point of view, writes a quarterly letter or records a webinar, and wants prospects to hear it. For that advisor, much of the monthly fee pays for content they skip.
Before you buy, run the two-year number rather than the monthly one. Marketing Premium plus Website Premium bought separately or as a bundle costs $8,210 in year one and $13,226 over two years. If your compliance department is part of a broker-dealer, also ask whether it already has an approved vendor list: the platform it supports is often the one that gets your posts approved fastest.
Cheaper ways to get social posts as a financial advisor
If the library is not what you need, the cost of posting regularly can drop a long way. Adapter.to writes posts from your own material instead of a shared library. Paste your quarterly commentary, a blog post, a client letter or the link to a webinar and it returns a LinkedIn post, an Instagram caption, an X thread, a short video script, a client email and a newsletter section, each shaped for its channel. Creator is $49 a month, or $24 billed annually ($288 a year), with no setup fee and 30 sources a month; Pro at $99 takes webinars and recorded videos as the source. The FMG Suite alternative page compares the two feature by feature, and the LinkedIn post generator lets you try one channel first.
It is a writing tool, not a compliance system. It does not submit posts for approval, archive them or publish them, so every draft goes through your firm's normal review: a registered principal approves static posts where FINRA Rule 2210 requires it, and your archiving vendor captures what goes live. Rules change, and if your firm tracks regulatory updates across several regulators, compliance management software with regulatory monitoring keeps that list current so marketing review is working from the latest rules. If you would rather hand the whole job to a person, our content repurposing services pricing page shows what freelancers and agencies charge, and the pricing page lists every Adapter.to plan.
Common questions
Does FMG Suite have a free trial?
No free trial is listed on the pricing page. Every plan is sold through a booked demo or a 20-minute consult, and every plan carries a setup fee, so expect to pay $199 or more before your first post goes out.
Is FMG Suite pricing per advisor?
Yes. The reviews product shows the calculation openly, $99 a month per advisor, and firms above a certain size are moved to custom pricing. If you are a team of several advisors, ask for the per-seat price on each plan before you compare it with a flat-priced tool.
How many email contacts does FMG Suite include?
Marketing Essential includes 1,000 contacts, and Premium and Do It For Me include 2,000. Additional contacts can be bought on Premium and Do It For Me only, up to 25,000, so an advisor with a list of more than 1,000 households has to start on Premium.
Is there a cheaper alternative to FMG Suite?
For a full advisor marketing platform, FMG Suite's own Marketing Essential at $99 is already the cheapest of the big names in year one. For posts and client emails written from your own commentary, Adapter.to costs $49 a month, or $24 billed annually, with no setup fee.
