Planoly Pricing and Review 2026 From $16 a Month

A Planoly pricing review for creators and small brands: Starter $16, Growth $28 and Pro $55 a month, the plan change that made most comparisons stale, 4.3 on Capterra, 3.2 on Trustpilot, and when Later, Buffer or Publer is the better buy.

The short answer

Read off planoly.com on October 1, 2026, Planoly costs $16 a month on Starter for 1 social set and 1 user, $28 on Growth for 2 sets and 2 users, and $55 on Pro for 6 sets and 6 users, or $14, $24 and $47 a month billed annually. A social set is one account on each of eight networks. Every plan includes unlimited uploads, a bio link storefront and Instagram DM automation, and the only free plan is in the mobile app with 10 uploads a month. The lineup changed after November 2025, when Pro was $43 for 2 sets and Starter capped uploads at 60. Planoly costs about half of Later for the same social sets. It rates 4.3 out of 5 from 56 reviews on Capterra and holds a 3.2 TrustScore from 61 reviews on Trustpilot, where complaints center on failed posts, slow support and renewals.

Is Planoly worth it?

Planoly is worth it for creators and small brands who plan Instagram visually and want to sell from their bio link, because $16 a month buys a grid planner, auto-posting to eight networks, unlimited uploads and a storefront with zero transaction fees. It is a weaker buy for teams that need approvals, an inbox or serious analytics, and its review scores split sharply: 4.3 out of 5 on Capterra, but a 3.2 TrustScore on Trustpilot, where most reviews are one-star complaints about reliability and renewals.

We read every price in this review off planoly.com on October 1, 2026, checked them against the plan table in the pricing page's own code, and compared them with archived copies of the same page in the Internet Archive. The ratings come from Capterra and Trustpilot the same day.

Planoly pricing at a glance

Planoly sells three paid plans, priced by social set. A social set is one account on each supported network: Instagram, Facebook, X, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads and TikTok.

PlanBilled monthlyBilled annuallySocial setsUsers
Starter$16 a month$14 a month11
Growth$28 a month$24 a month22
Pro$55 a month$47 a month66

Every plan includes unlimited uploads, the grid planner, the content calendar, the AI idea generator, the media library, a link in bio page that sells digital products, merch and bookings, and Instagram DM automation. Growth adds social sets at $10 a month and users at $5. Pro adds them at $8 and $3. Starter has no add-ons at all. Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial, and the only free plan is in the mobile app, limited to 10 uploads a month.

How much does Planoly cost per month?

Planoly costs $16 a month on Starter, $28 on Growth and $55 on Pro when billed monthly, or $14, $24 and $47 a month billed annually and paid upfront. Most solo creators pay $14 to $16. A two-brand team pays $28, and a small agency running six client brands pays $55, which already includes six users.

Per social set, the price falls as you climb: $16 on Starter, $14 on Growth and about $9.17 on Pro. That makes the crossover easy to find. Growth with add-ons stays cheaper up to 4 social sets ($48 a month), but a fifth set brings it to $58, above Pro's $55 for six sets and six people. A team needing 4 sets and 4 users also lands at $58 on Growth. From that point, buy Pro.

The annual toggle advertises "Save up to 15%". The actual saving is 12.5 percent on Starter, 14.3 percent on Growth and 14.5 percent on Pro, so no plan quite reaches the number on the badge. That is a smaller annual discount than Later's 25 percent, though Planoly's monthly prices start far lower.

When did Planoly change its pricing?

Planoly replaced its plan lineup between November 2025 and June 2026. The Internet Archive copy of planoly.com/pricing from November 12, 2025 shows the old plans, and the copy from June 29, 2026 shows the current ones, which have not moved since. The archive could not capture the page in between, so the exact month is not on record.

PlanNovember 2025October 2026
Starter$16, 1 set, 60 uploads a month, 1 user$16, 1 set, unlimited uploads, 1 user
Growth$28, 1 set, 3 users$28, 2 sets, 2 users
Pro$43, 2 sets, 6 users$55, 6 sets, 6 users
Selling from the bio linkSeparate Creator Store, $20 or $54 a monthIncluded in every plan

Three things follow. Pro got 28 percent more expensive but carries three times the social sets, so the price per set fell from $21.50 to about $9.17. Growth gained a set and lost a seat, so a three-person team that paid $28 now pays $33. And the storefront, which used to be a second subscription, is now free inside every plan. If a comparison article quotes a 60-upload Starter, a $43 Pro or a paid Creator Store, it is describing plans you can no longer buy.

What do Planoly reviews say?

The two big review sites disagree, and the split is about trust rather than features.

SourceRatingReviewsWhat stands out
Capterra4.3 / 556Ease of use 4.3, customer service 3.8
Trustpilot3.2 TrustScore6126 percent five-star, 62 percent one-star

The praise is about the planner. Reviewers like seeing the feed before it goes live, rearranging posts until the grid looks right, and batching a month of content in one sitting. Small businesses and freelancers call the price fair, which matches the arithmetic above.

The complaints cluster in three places. First, reliability: scheduled posts that publish late or not at all, video Stories that fail, and connections that expire and need relinking. Second, support that is slow to answer or repeats questions instead of fixing the issue, which is why customer service is its lowest Capterra score. Third, billing: several Trustpilot reviewers describe annual renewals they did not notice coming and refunds that were hard to get. If you buy annually, put the renewal date in your calendar the day you pay.

Planoly pros and cons

Pros

  • The grid preview is still one of the best ways to plan an Instagram feed visually.
  • Low price: about half of Later for the same 1, 2 and 6 social sets.
  • Unlimited uploads on every plan, with no per-profile post caps.
  • A bio link storefront with digital products, merch and bookings at zero transaction fees, included from $16.
  • Instagram DM automation on every plan.

Cons

  • Recurring reports of posts failing or publishing late.
  • Support is the weakest part of the product in both review sites.
  • Starter has no add-ons, so a second user means jumping a plan.
  • Annual savings top out at 14.5 percent, below the 15 percent on the badge.
  • Its AI suggests ideas and captions from a prompt; it does not turn your existing articles, videos or podcasts into posts.

Is Planoly good for small business?

Yes, for a single brand that sells visually, such as a boutique, a salon, a bakery or a coach with a digital product. One social set covers every mainstream network, and the storefront means the bio link can take payments without a separate shop subscription. If that storefront starts bringing in real money next to platform payouts and brand deals, it pays to track every creator payout in one place rather than reconciling three dashboards at tax time. Planoly is a weaker fit for a business that needs sign-off from a manager or a client before anything goes out, because approvals are not on its pricing page at any tier.

What Planoly costs against the alternatives

Monthly list prices read off each vendor's own pricing page in 2026.

1 creator, 3 networks$16$25$15$12
2 brands, 8 accounts, 3 people$33$55$40 to $80about $36
6 brands, 6 people$55about $120per channelper account

Later is the like-for-like rival, with the same social-set structure, and it costs about twice as much. What Later adds is approvals, a social inbox, a year or more of analytics and competitive benchmarking on Scale, plus post caps of 30 per profile on Starter and 180 on Growth that Planoly does not have. Buffer and Publer are cheaper for a handful of channels but have no bio storefront and no grid-first planning. Our Planoly alternative comparison walks through each of them in more depth, and the cheapest social media scheduler page runs more tools through the same arithmetic.

Where Adapter.to fits next to Planoly

Planoly solves where a post goes and when. It does not solve what the post says. Most creators who stall on Planoly have the grid planned and the captions missing, even though last month's blog post, YouTube video or podcast episode already holds a week of material.

That is the job Adapter.to does. Paste the source or its URL and it writes the Instagram captions, a TikTok or Reels script, a LinkedIn post, an X thread and a newsletter section, each shaped for its channel, ready to paste into Planoly. Plans start at $29 a month for 30 source pieces. Instagram-first creators usually start with the Instagram caption generator, and writers with repurpose blog posts. Try the live demo at the top of this page with your latest post and see a week of captions before you pay for anything.
