The short answer
ContentStudio is worth it for solo marketers and small teams that want scheduling, an AI writer, analytics and a social inbox in one tool for under $70 a month: it is rated 4.7 out of 5 from 674 reviews on Capterra and its sister sites and 4.6 on G2. Read off its pricing page on October 7, 2026, plans are $29, $69 and $139 a month, or $19, $49 and $99 billed yearly. The catch is the top plan: Agency Unlimited includes unlimited users and workspaces but only 25 social accounts, then $5 down to $1 per extra account. First-time subscribers get a 30-day money-back guarantee, and the 7-day trial needs no card.

Is ContentStudio worth it?
Yes, for a solo marketer or a small team that wants scheduling, an AI writer, analytics and a social inbox in one tool for under $70 a month. It is rated 4.7 out of 5 from 674 reviews on Capterra and its sister sites, and its entry plan carries more than most rivals at the same price, including API and MCP access. It is a weaker buy for an agency past 25 client accounts, because the plan called Agency Unlimited is not unlimited on accounts.
We read ContentStudio's pricing page and its machine-readable pricing file on October 7, 2026, checked the plan table against the Internet Archive, and went through the reviews on G2, Capterra, GetApp, Software Advice and Trustpilot. What follows is what we found, including two places where ContentStudio's own wording is more generous than its terms.
ContentStudio pricing at a glance
Three published plans plus a quoted Enterprise tier. The annual price is the one ContentStudio puts in its page title, so most people see $19 first. Month to month, the same plan is $29.
| Plan | Monthly | Billed yearly | Social accounts | Users | Workspaces |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $29 | $19 a month ($228) | 5 | 1 | 1 |
| Advanced | $69 | $49 a month ($588) | 10, then $5 each | 2, then $10 each | 2, then $10 each |
| Agency Unlimited | $139 | $99 a month ($1,188) | 25, then $5 down to $1 each | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Enterprise | Custom, annual only | Custom | Unlimited | Unlimited | |
Standard cannot buy add-on accounts, users or workspaces at all; you upgrade instead. The full add-on menu, the real annual discount on each tier (34.5, 29.0 and 28.8 percent, so the "up to 34%" badge is exact only on the cheapest plan) and the point where upgrading beats add-ons are worked through in our ContentStudio pricing breakdown.
Is Agency Unlimited really unlimited?
No. Agency Unlimited includes unlimited users and unlimited workspaces, but only 25 social accounts. Above 25, each account costs $5 a month up to 50, $4 from 51 to 100, $3 from 101 to 200, $2 from 201 to 500 and $1 past 500, per the tooltip on ContentStudio's plan comparison table. Its machine-readable pricing file says to contact sales for the current tier table, so confirm the bands before you sign.
This is not new. The Internet Archive shows the same 25-account line on the pricing page in August 2026. We got it wrong ourselves in September, because the plan card prints "Unlimited workspaces" right next to an account count that only appears once the page's script runs. If a comparison site tells you ContentStudio has unlimited accounts for $139, it made the same mistake.
What it means in money, on monthly billing with white label added at $50:
| Agency size | Accounts | ContentStudio monthly |
|---|---|---|
| 6 clients on 4 networks | 24 | $189 |
| 10 clients on 4 networks | 40 | $264 ($189 + 15 x $5) |
| 10 clients on 8 networks | 80 | $434 ($189 + 25 x $5 + 30 x $4) |
At 40 accounts that is still cheaper than most white-label setups we have priced. At 80 it is not. Cloud Campaign's Team tier puts unlimited accounts inside each client workspace and comes to about $344 for ten clients. Our social media management software for agencies comparison runs the same arithmetic across every platform we have priced.
What do ContentStudio reviews say?
The ratings are high and, unusually for this category, consistent across sites. Here is what each platform showed when we checked in October 2026.
| Review site | Rating | Reviews |
|---|---|---|
| Capterra, GetApp and Software Advice (one shared review pool) | 4.7 out of 5 | 674 |
| G2 | 4.6 out of 5 | 355 |
| Trustpilot | 4.3 out of 5 | 7 |
The 674-review pool breaks down as 490 five-star, 163 four-star, 16 three-star, 2 two-star and 3 one-star reviews. Software Advice splits the score into value for money 4.8, customer support 4.6, functionality 4.6 and ease of use 4.5. Value for money scoring highest fits what the reviews say in words: people choose ContentStudio because it does roughly what pricier suites do for less. Ignore the Trustpilot number. Seven reviews spread over five years cannot tell you anything.
ContentStudio pros and cons
The praise is specific. Reviewers like scheduling one post to several networks with a first comment attached, the content discovery feed that surfaces articles worth sharing, and reporting deep enough to show which posts worked. Long-time users mention that the product keeps shipping features, and several name the live training sessions as the way they learned it.
The complaints are just as consistent:
- It takes time to learn. The most common criticism is that there are too many modules and no clear "start here" path. One owner called it "a bit cluttered sometimes because it has so many features".
- Posts occasionally fail. A handful of reviewers report posts that did not publish. That is true of every scheduler that depends on network APIs, but it means someone still has to check the queue.
- Instagram account type matters. A copywriter bought it to schedule Reels and found that worked for business profiles but not creator ones. ContentStudio now lists both account types as supported, so test your own account during the trial.
- The mobile app does less than the web app. Fine for approving a post on the move, not for building a month of content.
- Support speed varies. Most reviewers praise the support team's knowledge, and a few say replies can take a while at busy times.
What you get on each plan
Standard is the best-equipped entry plan we have seen in this price band. It publishes to 12 destinations (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Bluesky, Threads, Google Business Profile, Telegram and Tumblr) with unlimited posts, and includes the AI studio, brand voice, analytics, X threads, LinkedIn carousels and API and MCP access. AI allowances are 25,000 text credits, 25 image credits and 100 video credits a month. The text allowance is generous and the image allowance is not, which matters if your feed is visual.
Advanced is where teamwork starts: a social inbox, approval workflows, competitor analytics, Meta and Google Ads reporting, evergreen recycling, CSV bulk scheduling, RSS autoposting and scheduled reports. None of those can be bought as add-ons on Standard. Social listening is a separate add-on on both upper plans, $99 a month on Advanced for 3 topics and 5,000 mentions. If what you actually want is to hear about your brand everywhere, not only on the networks you post to, a dedicated brand monitoring and social listening tool may cover more for similar money.
Agency Unlimited adds EasyConnect, which lets clients connect their own accounts without sharing passwords, plus client dashboards, priority support, guided onboarding and a dedicated account manager. White label is $50 a month and reselling the platform under your own brand another $50.
ContentStudio vs Sendible vs Ocoya
These are the three tools buyers most often shortlist together for small agencies. Prices are monthly billing, read off each vendor's page between September 21 and October 7, 2026.
| ContentStudio | Sendible | Ocoya | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Entry plan | $29, 5 accounts, 1 user | $35, 6 profiles, unlimited users | $29, 5 profiles, 1 user |
| Middle plan | $69, 10 accounts, 2 users | $99, 18 profiles, unlimited users | $79, 20 profiles, 5 users |
| Top published plan | $139, 25 accounts, unlimited users | $299, 90 profiles, unlimited users | $199, 100 profiles, 20 users |
| Refunds | 30-day money-back for first-time subscribers | None, all payments non-refundable | Not checked for this review |
ContentStudio wins on AI text allowance, 25,000 credits on the entry plan against Ocoya's 300 shared ones, and on price up to about 25 accounts. Sendible wins when you have more people than accounts, because every plan includes unlimited users. Ocoya wins on raw account count per dollar at the 20 and 100 profile marks. Our Sendible review and Ocoya pricing breakdown cover the other two in the same depth.
Is ContentStudio legit?
Yes. It has been on the market for years, publishes complete pricing including add-ons and a machine-readable pricing file, and its trial does not ask for a card. If you have not added payment details when the 7 days end, nothing is charged. First-time subscribers get a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of their first payment, you can cancel from billing settings and keep access to the end of the paid period, and you can pause billing instead of cancelling. Those are some of the fairest terms in this category; Sendible, for comparison, refunds nothing.
Where ContentStudio stops, and where Adapter.to fits
ContentStudio is built to get posts scheduled, published and measured. Its AI writer generates captions from a prompt. What it does not do well is the step before that: taking a 2,000-word article, a webinar recording or a podcast episode you already made and turning it into a LinkedIn post, an X thread, an Instagram caption and a TikTok script that each say something real from the source.
That is the only job Adapter.to does. You paste a blog post, a video, a podcast or a URL and it returns posts for eight channels written from what the piece actually says. It does not schedule or publish, so most teams use it next to ContentStudio, not instead of it: Adapter.to writes the month, ContentStudio queues it. Plans are $49 a month for 30 sources, $99 for 120 sources with video and podcast inputs, and $199 for 400 sources and 3 users, or half that billed annually. The repurpose content for social media page shows the output, and our ContentStudio alternative page puts the two side by side.
Who should buy ContentStudio?
- Buy Standard if you are one person running up to five accounts and you post mostly text. At $29, or $19 billed yearly, little else in the category includes this much.
- Buy Advanced if a second person needs to log in, or you want approvals, the inbox or ads reporting. Do not try to build Advanced out of Standard add-ons; you cannot.
- Buy Agency Unlimited if you have many staff and up to roughly 25 to 50 client accounts. Past that, price Cloud Campaign and Sendible before you commit to a year.
- Look elsewhere if your problem is that the calendar is empty rather than that publishing is slow. A scheduler cannot write from content it never sees.
Frequently asked questions
Does ContentStudio have a free plan?
No. ContentStudio has no free forever plan and no lifetime deals. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial that needs no credit card, and if you have not added payment details when it ends, nothing is charged. After that the cheapest option is Standard at $29 a month, or $19 a month billed yearly.
Can I get a refund from ContentStudio?
Yes, if you are a first-time subscriber. ContentStudio offers a 30-day money-back guarantee that runs from the date of your first paid subscription; you request it from support. You can also cancel any time from billing settings and keep access until the end of the period you paid for, or pause billing instead.
How many social accounts does ContentStudio Agency Unlimited include?
Twenty-five. Agency Unlimited makes users and workspaces unlimited, not social accounts. Accounts 26 to 50 cost $5 a month each, 51 to 100 cost $4, and the rate keeps falling to $1 past 500, according to the tooltip on ContentStudio's comparison table, which also tells larger buyers to confirm with sales.
Is ContentStudio good for agencies?
For small and mid-sized agencies, yes. Agency Unlimited gives unlimited staff logins and client workspaces, client dashboards and EasyConnect for $139 a month, and white label is $50 more. Above roughly 57 accounts, Cloud Campaign's unlimited accounts per client become cheaper, so count your accounts before choosing.
